Falkirk manager John McGlynn is being touted as a potential replacement for Steve Clarke as Scotland manager. Calvin Miller has put McGlynn's name forward, citing his unique approach to the game. McGlynn's experience in the Scottish Premiership, where Falkirk currently sits 6th with 46 points from 33 games, could be an asset in the Scotland job. McGlynn's playing style, which has led to 45 goals scored and 48 conceded this season, may offer something different for Scotland. Falkirk's next fixture is against Ayr Utd at home on 2026-07-14, and a win could help the team climb the table. With Falkirk having lost their last 5 games, including a 2-5 defeat to Rangers on 2026-05-16, McGlynn will be looking to turn things around.
